Chester Nimitz with his grandfather (with beard) in the Nimitz Hotel in Fredericksburg circa 1890.

A remarkable historic photo: future World War II hero Admiral Chester Nimitz with his grandfather (with beard) in the Nimitz Hotel in Fredericksburg circa 1890. Nimitz' grandfather built the hotel in 1852. It is now the National Museum of the Pacific War.

I meant to point out that Chester Nimitz is the boy in this photo. Darn it!
