Sen. Ted Cruz is responding to the 100 billboards across Texas featuring his face with the word "resign."
A spokesperson for the Cruz camp shared the following statement Tuesday evening.
"The left and some grifters on the right are consumed by partisan anger and rage," the spokesperson said via email. "Sen. Cruz will continue to work for 29 million Texans in the Senate.
The Republican Accountability Project, launched by Defending Democracy Together in response to the Jan. 6 capitol attack, is paying for the $1 million billboard campaign recently calling for the resignation of Cruz and his fellow Congressional members.
The Cruz-focused billboard says: "You lied about the election. The Capitol was attacked. Sen. Cruz: Resign."

All the Texans Qruz is representing are in the Senate. He has a constituency of one: Sen. Qruz.
