BY JUSTINE COLEMAN - 03/10/21 03:13 PM EST
The Texas Rangers plan to allow 100 percent attendance for the teams April 5 home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays, the team announced on Wednesday.
The Rangers became the first major professional team to declare plans to fully open its stadium to fans since the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted sports. The baseball team plans to have up to 40,518 fans, who will be required to wear masks, in the stadium for the April 5 game.
The club cited Texas Gov. Greg Abbotts (R) order permitting the state to fully reopen in its announcement.

The Rangers plan to sell single-game tickets to fans for the March and April home games at Globe Life Field.
The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation plans to reach out to organizations to give free tickets to frontline workers, such as hospital workers, first responders, teachers, grocery store workers, military service members and workers for the Federal Emergency Management Agency who staffed vaccination sites.
Health protocols released Wednesday indicate that fans have to wear masks except when actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seat, and tailgating is banned.

to hospitalize and/or kill as many Texans as humanly possible. I really don't understand this guy, but he's a republican, so why should I even try. They're all nucking futz.

(19,193 posts)8. They can't even play in their own stadium!
If they travel to the U.S. to play, the Canadians won't let them back into Canada. They'll play all of their "home games" in Buffalo, NY starting in April.
