Angry White People In Anna, TX Flip Out Over Diversity Inclusion

Worse, a far-right extremist was given a seat on the board. Aside from using her platform to spew hatred, she is actively trying to bring the board down.

Living Blue in Texas is calling for the immediate resignation of Councilman Toten for the racist rhetoric he used regarding the coronavirus. We are also calling for the immediate resignation of Diversity and Inclusion Council member, Gina Maria, for the racist rhetoric she has used regarding the coronavirus, the lies which she told in multiple meetings, and her attacks on the 70-year old Black chairwoman on the Diversity and Inclusion council.

I don't believe that I've posted anything about Anna, Texas in my ten years here. Melissa yes, Anna no.

The story represents what occurs in large portions of Texas so it doesn't come as a surprise.

I'm most familiar with south and central Texas, although I lived in Las Colinas for awhile. I've probably have been through about 75% of the towns bound by the interstates that form the triangle between the biggest cities in the state.

I'll look forward to reading your next story.

when I've lived here my entire life (44 years) and there are still places I've never heard of. Anna, TX? That's a new one. Maybe I need to get out more.
