Article III, section 10 of the Texas Constitution establishes a quorum of two-thirds of each House to do business, and it ties quorum to “attendance.” A court could construe this term and others in the Texas Constitution to require physical presence in the chamber in order to attend and be counted for purposes of a quorum.

The constitution can be amended, but it requires voter approval.

Who knows what they have up their sleeves. Having the majority will make them fight for this no matter what.

all of the Democrats will know exactly what be discussed when the special session convenes. They simply avoid the Capitol so posting guards or locking them in the House chamber won't have any impact.
