'I was shaking. I couldn't believe it' -Texas City fisherman reels in 12-ft, 1,000-pound tiger shark

TEXAS CITY, Texas — Talk about the catch of a lifetime for one Texas city fisherman when he reeled in a very rare 1,000-pound shark 40 miles off the coast of Galveston.

And get this: the boat they were on wasn’t much bigger than that shark!

For Avery Fuller and his three brothers, it’s always been their destiny.

“It’s been in our family for as long as I can remember," Fuller said.

Catching sharks off the coast of Galveston just like their dad.

It’s like Eric and Don Jr with photos of their catches, it doesn’t make you a better person because you can kill a beautiful animal.
The shark would be much more impressive swimming in the ocean.

It also could be a way to eat the next year. He could be food insecure. Not sure either way. Could save his life.
