(144,934 posts)Michael Li used to have the best website on Texas redistricting issues when he was a patent attorney at Baker Botts. The Brennan Center hired Michael and that website is dormant. I trust Michael on these issues

(111,950 posts)the rest of the district is ridiculous. District 15 that stretches for over 200 miles is also ridiculous. District 35 is also odd.
Districts 6 and 33 in the DFW area are so intertwined with each other that they should be redrawn so that they are more compact. District 24 should also be redrawn to make it more compact.

I hated being in that district and now I'm back in it.
They make it "claw around" suburban Bexar County, so they can pick up more red voters.
The pack Castro and Doggett in safe districts. CD 23 is no longer competitive.
I hate it. The reps have been awful.
