4. I won't deny much about Texas sucks

But I pay 1000 a year combined home and auto insurance with Farmer's.

I cut a couple of corners for stuff I don't have or need insured, but it's more or less your standard basic homeowners policy which currently covers the value of my home and the stuff in it.

Granted, my home is only five years old so that helps.

Where do you live? I live 30 miles from the coast. 4000/year insurance for the home. $1400 for cars.
Webster Texas. 20 years ago I paid $500/year.
