Woman in Texas who went on a Racist Rant has been caught

Texas police arrested a woman who was filmed hurling racist insults and attacking three Indian-American women near Dallas. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa reports on how that nearly five-and-a-half-minute video has gone viral as police are now investigating the incident as a hate crime.

And I live in Minneapolis where George Floyd was murdered, so I know things have been bad for a long time, but it is getting worse.

At least Chauvin got jail time and the Police Union that was covering for racist cops got taken down.

But the MAGA are getting more emboldened and trying to make this country a place where no place at all will be safe for people of color or anyone standing up for them.

Whether this woman was white or Hispanic or anyone else has no bearing whatsoever. She may have been on the receiving end of an unfortunate hate-filled diatribe at some point. It boils down to her intent to harm and dehumanize other individuals who were singled out as being "different". And yes, her words and actions would certainly meet the criteria for a hate crime. It's fortunate that the law finally caught up with her.

Evidently for people like this, just seeing someone in public who may not have been born here is enough to trigger attacks. I hope tourists from other countries who don’t speak English well stay out of red states where they aren’t safe from attack by the privileged set.

and of course all my Tio's and Tia's were 100% as well...all were poor to middle class....and there was definitely some racism in the family.

25. Oy..ignorance comes in all forms. I hear ya. I have trumpians in my own ethnic family as well.

One thing - many Indian Americans here in the US are highly educated, especially those here in North TX. Plano is just 15 minutes from me & i'm so sad as DFW is the biggest metro area in TX and very diverse. Austin, Houston, El Paso & San Antonio are as well. All for the most part are more Blue, no surprise there.
