A decent producing well go down in production sold to a small company that can make some money off it for awhile. When it goes lower they drop it. Leaving it abandoned. Trying to get a small company to pay just means they declare bankruptcy and restart under a new name. New abandoned wells are created every year.

since they inundated the area with that CoRexit stuff. They poured so many different poison chemicals into the Gulf after the Deep Water Horizon went up, I wouldn't trust eating anything out of there anymore. And I feel for all the porpoises and other sea creatures that have and are dying because of the remains of the stuff, as well as the dead areas in the Gulf.

I so wanted to retire in Galveston... up until I felt they ruined the Gulf and surrounding waters. Had many, many good times running up and down the coast area, especially around Port A and Corpus. Was like one long drag strip for me (LOL).
