Related: About this forumI've voted! Chime in when you early vote!
The line was out the door for at least an hour when I was there.
We have a really weird "choose your ballot card" thing this time around. The ballots have serial numbers for this election, so the poll workers are shuffling about 25-50 at a time and then the voter chooses their blank card out of five random numbered ballots.
Remember to shut off your cell phone and smart watches capable of recording!
Have a great time voting Kamala Harris in and blocking Donald Trump from victory!

(4,671 posts)No outdoor line; single roped line moved very quickly indoors. Voters well spaced, some were masked, but I've had my flu and all covid booster (even a stylus for each voter for contactless touch screen ballots) and the poll workers were friendly, efficient and helpful.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
