After the members were sworn in, Representative Venton Jones (D-HD100) proposed to his longtime partner Gregory Scott JR. 💍 He said yes! Congratulations to the happy couple! 🥂

gets engaged on the House floor and people cheer and congratulate them. I love how same sex love is being accepted and normalized more and more.

I hope they have many happy years together.
