There are actually more registered Democrats in Texas than there are Republicans, but the grotesque corruption that is the hallmark of the Republican Party, especially under the iron fist of Governor "Hot Wheels" Abbott and his malignant minions, Lt. Governor, Dan Patrick, and Attorney General, Ken Paxton, obscene gerrymandering has given the Texas GOP a stranglehold on power; every Republican's wet dream, and a one-word euphemism for total dominion over the lives of others.
