Bexar County secures $4 million to enhance election operations
SAN ANTONIO - Bexar County is set to receive $4 million in federal funds to boost its election operations.
On Thursday, Elections Administrator Michele Carew announced that the county will receive $4 million in federal Help America Vote Act funds, a big increase from the original $86,000 offer.
Carew said the money will help add more voting locations and purchase additional poll pads ahead of upcoming elections.
