McAllen calls special election for District 5 to replace Seby Haddad

McAllen District 5 residents are being called to the polls to elect a new representative.

On Monday, the city of McAllen officially called a special election to fill the District 5 commission seat after Seby Haddad resigned from his position to run for Texas House District 41.

The election is slated for May 2 at McAllen School, located at 2021 La Vista Avenue.

Early voting by personal appearance will take place April 20 to April 28 at The Fireman’s Pump House, 3401 Jordan Avenue, and Lark Community Center, 2601 Lark Avenue.
