Bastrop County may rename FM 969 as 'Charlie Kirk Corridor' after his assasination

Bastrop County commissioners will consider renaming a road in honor of Charlie Kirk, the Turning Point USA co-founder who was assassinated in September.

Commissioner David Glass has put a resolution on Monday's agenda to change the name of FM 969 in Bastrop County to the "Charlie Kirk Corridor." FM 969 is a state-maintained farm-to-market road that runs through Bastrop and Travis counties.

Glass did not immediately return a request for comment Friday.

"Bastrop County recognizes the importance of honoring distinguished individuals whose commitment to civic values, public engagement, and leadership has made a lasting contribution to political life in the State of Texas and the United States," said the background information about the resolution on the commissioners' agenda.

If you have read or seen ANY of his vile statements, and still profess to admire him, you, too, are an irredeemably rotten excuse for a human being, and I wouldn't cross the street to piss in your face if you were on fire.

we had the daniel Boone Parkway but politics ruined that. It was renamed the Hal rogers parkway after the biggest pork barrel king in Washington .
