Johnny Manziel's Twitter account has already caused him headaches in the past, and it seems Saturday night offered no respite for the Texas A&M quarterback.
According to LarryBrownSports.com, Manziel tweeted his frustrating about living in College Station on Saturday night, only to delete it soon after.
"[Expletive] like tonight is why I can't wait to leave college station... whenever it may be," the tweet read.
After the tweet disappeared from his feed, Manziel quickly responded with another tweet proclaiming his love for Texas A&M, but urging fans to "walk a day in my shoes."

(61,732 posts)The fun artsy stuff at the university is on hiatus. Concerts event die down, etc. Geographically, there's not much to be done there, like hiking, kayaking, etc.
Manziel is a young man who has enjoyed the NYC nightlife. Of course he's bored. And to top it off, he has a bodyguard. No wonder he's looking forward to leaving.

(12,180 posts)College Station is not the most entertaining, culture filled city in Texas, let alone the U.S. It is too college student-centric. There has been some improvement over the years but lots more is needed.
I can understand Johnny "football" wanting to leave College Station. He probably can't go any place without drawing too much attention. Fame has its price.

It does make me wonder if he is having girlfriend problems though.

Bummer for Longhorn fans.

(7,672 posts)the fact that they had a Greek restaurant seemed very exotic to me!
I'm definitely a hick from the sticks, whereas JM has a completely different experience going for him.
(on continuing thought, I'M STILL a hick from the sticks!)

(2,522 posts)He is a freshman. Sit out the sophomore year. Junior and Senior to impress the pros.

Besides, didn't Texas shrug him off when he applied there? He said he expressed interest in Texas, but they didn't pursue him. He seems to be loyal and willing to "dance with who brung 'em."
I think he considered Oregon.

(2,522 posts)They would each have been welcome but not at the quarterback position. So, yes, UT did shrug off TWO Heisman-winning quarterbacks. Kinda makes ya wonder about their talent-judging abilities.
I don't know how much eligibility he has left.

(113,573 posts)I understand his frustration, but it shows how something so minor can become such a big deal when taken out of context.

The police probably saw a nice car and figured he could afford the ticket.
