Lawsuit alleges Michael Brown sexually assaulted unconscious woman on a boat
Michael Brown, the embattled former hand surgeon whose personal life has generated multiple court appearances in recent years, allegedly committed sexual assault on an unconscious woman on his boat, according to a recent lawsuit.
The suit, filed June 18 in Harris County Civil District Court by Brown's former chief of staff Ray von Proctor, mainly concerns von Proctor's employment with Brown Medical Center, where he was hired in March 2010.
Von Proctor claims in the suit that he was demoted from chief of staff to director of personal asset management for Brown Medical Center, only after he "refused to engage in illegal activities."
Such activities included Brown's paying cash to renew an apartment lease in violation of Harris County District Court and a federal bankruptcy order, the suit states.
