I watched Tom Garrett's live presser on Facebook.

Audio was low and the dog was complaining. I missed a lot. A lot of it was him ranting about an immigration issue. Everything sucks and he'll be in Congress in 2019 is what I got at the end.

On Edit:

WaPo says:

Rep. Tom Garrett (R-Va.) said Thursday that he will not drop his bid for a second term in Congress, ending speculation triggered by an online report Thursday that said he might not run.

The Facebook Live announcement capped an uncertain 24 hours for Garrett that left Virginia Republicans uncertain of his future plans and briefly fueled Democratic hopes of flipping the seat.

A freshman member of the conservative Freedom Caucus, Garrett, 46, is a former state senator and a former commonwealth’s attorney in Louisa County who has struggled to raise money since arriving in Congress. He was unopposed in seeking the GOP nomination for a second term, but faces a well-funded Democratic opponent, journalist and author Leslie Cockburn.

They don't mention what he was ranting about.
