3,486 Coronavirus Cases In King County; 230 Dead

SEATTLE, WA — Lab testing has confirmed another 155 of the new coronavirus in King County and eight more deaths linked to COVID-19, according to public health officials. The latest numbers include all results reported before 11:59 p.m. Monday and represent a smaller increase in cases and deaths compared to recent days.

In King County, which has the highest number of illnesses and deaths linked to COVID-19 in Washington, 3,486 people have tested positive since the outbreak began, and 230 people have died.

According to the state health department, 8,682 patients have tested positive across Washington, and nearly 400 people have died. As work continues to upgrade the state's reporting system, updated information on the number of negative test results remains unavailable.
