Seattle Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner donates meals to first responders fighting COVID-19
Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner has lent a helping hand to those on the front lines battling the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The All-Pro middle linebacker has partnered with Hungry@home, a family style food delivery service, to donate hot meals to hundreds of first responders at Virginia Mason Hospital.
Wagner has joined a number of athletes whove used their platform and resources to support the community during the COVID-19 crisis, some of which include his own teammates.
Quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, partnered with Feeding to America to donate millions of meals to needy families. Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf has also donated $50,000 to COVID-19 relief efforts, with $25,000 going toward both Swedish Hospital in Seattle and meal purchases for needy families in his native Oxford, Miss.
