"The Democratic party needs an enema"

I live in District 5 and I was looking at the Twitter feed of one of the candidates against Kathy McMorris Rogers. And he retweeted Jason Call's tweet about the Democratic party needing an enema. (He's running in District 2.)

Maybe I'm a fuddyduddy, but this messaging does not seem appropriate.

that he will battle against leadership and weaken the party In the name of ideology.

I want more progressives in the party and I want more progressive candidates to be elected, but running against the Democratic party itself? I don't like that.

you republicans ended up electing the current POS in the WH today, who's proved to be so incompetent in doing everything. And this idiot calls himself a 'progressive'...nothing like borrowing labels from the other party, eh?

At first glance I thought he was running in District 5. That's the Deception Pass bridge in the background.

He's running against Rick Larson. Since Washington has a top two primary I'm guessing he's hoping to get a lot of Republican votes in spite of proclaiming himself a Democrat.
