Protesters break East Precinct windows; 12 SPD officers injured

A large group of demonstrators marched into Capitol Hill from downtown Seattle on Sunday, as part of a protest against ICE.

Seattle police made two arrests, and report at least one officer has been transported to the hospital after police say protesters threw bottles and rocks downtown near the West Precinct.

In total, SPD reports 12 officers were injured.

Police say protesters broke several windows of businesses on their way to Capitol Hill, before doing the same to the East Precinct building. A device thrown into the window ignited a small fire inside the precinct lobby.

All the protesters I have ever met were peaceful. Same with the protests. These "actions" always follow the peaceful ones and the cops never apprehend anyone in the act.
