People all across the country have started to turn out for the general election in November.
In some states, people have stood in lines for hours -- standing six feet apart and wearing masks -- to make sure they can cast their votes early at polling stations. In other states, people have started to receive their ballots in the mail, an option that has become much more widespread due to the coronavirus pandemic.
If you haven't received your ballot yet, though, don't worry. Ballots for King County voters will be sent out Wednesday. And because Washington is a vote-by-mail state, voters won't have to worry about going to in-person polling stations and putting their safety at risk to cast their ballots during the pandemic.
Voters will have until Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. to get their ballots in. Whether you still need to register to vote or have had a plan in place for months to get your ballot in, here's all the information to keep in mind through the general election.
