Thanksgiving is now less than two weeks away and some food banks are seeing a bigger demand this year because of the pandemic.
Some food pantries are even in need of help themselves.
So many people are out of work because of the pandemic. And that means more people that need help. This Thanksgiving, several food banks tell KOMO News they really dont know what to expect

As I mentioned in another recent post, I've volunteered at this food bank for 10 years. Since March we have seen double the amount of families in need, and not just for food. Please, please consider donating $$$ to your local food bank unless they make a specific request for certain items.

With 20% unemployment,mostly Hospitality and Gig workers,this is getting worse by the day.
