Woman finds kilo of cocaine in crochet kit bought at Seattle store

SEATTLE - A woman got a big surprise after she bought a craft kit at a thrift shop in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood over the weekend - inside the kit was a kilogram of cocaine.

The incident unfolded Sunday at around 3 p.m. when the woman purchased a kit to crochet animal hats at a business within the 730 block of North 95th Street, police said.

When she opened the kit, there was a suspicious heavy package encased in yellow rubber. The package gave off an odd odor and had "100%" written on the outside.

The woman immediately called 911. Officers responded and took possession of the suspicious package.

The kit didn't seem unusually heavy when she bought it?

Finished a large crochet kit in an unbelievably short amount of time, vacuumed the house and called up old friends and exes while wondering why nobody really wants to talk but that’s OK because I’ve got lots to say then look again at that crochet kit and decide you did a really crappy job but hey it’s just a first try I’ll just go get another one so you jump in the car and return to the craft store only to find that craft stores are generally closed at 3:27 AM on a Tuesday but you know what’s not closed? The truck stop parking lot!!!

And thus starts your new life as a truck stop prostitute.

But maybe that’s just me. You do you.

After working for two weeks at the truck stop you suddenly remember there was a strange package inside that cheap crappy crochet kit that you never got around to opening so you hitch a ride on the back of a Harley to get back home but first he has to stop at his baby-mama’s house to pay this months child support and she thinks you’re stealing her man so you walk the rest of the way home and open that strange package and say “Wow...I should have opened that first.” Then you do a little toot and paint the spare room.
