Several arrested during May Day demonstrations
Several demonstrators were arrested while marching in downtown Seattle on May Day.
Police said a coffee shop near Broadway and East Denny Way was spray-painted and damaged.

At one point, the marchers had blocked all lanes of South Jackson Street at Eighth Avenue, the Seattle Department of Transportation reported.
As demonstrators continued to march, a crowd at Broadway and East Pine Street threw bottles, rocks and paint at officers, causing police to issue a dispersal order. Two people were arrested, law enforcement said.
When the group approached Cal Anderson Park, police said they began throwing flares, bottles, more eggs, paint and a bag of unidentified liquid at officers. Four people were arrested at the park.
