Amazon offers bonuses and incentives as it looks to add 75K logistics jobs
Amazon.com Inc. announced Thursday it is hiring 75,000 employees in fulfillment and transportation roles across the U.S. and Canada.
The hiring of more fulfillment and transportation employees coincides with a growth in Amazon Prime, the company's premium delivery and streaming service.
In an April letter to shareholders, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said Prime has grown to more than 200 million members globally. In the letter, Bezos refuted the notion that Amazon holds its employees to unfair standards.

The open roles, according to Amazon, have a starting pay of more than $17 per hour and sign-on bonuses up to $1,000.
