2. We're in Edmonds. We're hitting near 95 now. It is NOT great.

Fortunately we have a/c but it's bloody hot outside. I fear for every living thing that's not able to get relief.

3. Lake Forest Park - Our AC stopped working

I went out to check the new heat pump and found it is sitting directly in the sun on the south wall of the house.
It over heated and shut down. Hopefully the shade we made for it will be enough.

I have a small pool outside for the dog to play in. I have water dishes in the shade throughout the property for the birds and small critters. I could not find one bird bath for sale--tried four different stores. Crazy.

I hope this does not become the norm in the Pacific NW due to global warming. The forecast projects continued high temps--not up to 100, but upper 80s is still high for PNW.

this afternoon. And this is the coast! I’m sure we broke records for our area today. No typical ocean breeze this evening, not a leaf a-stirring. Still 85 right now. No one here has A/C, I’m trying not to whine, but my resolve is starting to break down.
