King County to buy another hotel for homeless
King County will unveil plans to buy another hotel to house the homeless.
Executive Dow Constantine will make the announcement Thursday morning from the Holiday Inn and Suites on Aurora Avenue in North Seattle.
This is the latest hotel through the Health Through Health housing program.
The program is a regional approach to bring chronically homeless individuals off the street and into permanent, supportive housing in existing hotels and other facilities purchased by King County.
