Washington State Fire Marshall says he's unable to get vaccinated

The state Fire Marshal knows his days in that position are numbered since he is refusing the governor’s mandate to get vaccinated. Charles LeBlanc says he is not anti-vaccine. He just believes it is just too dangerous for him.

In his first interview, LeBlanc said he is speaking as an individual and not representing the Fire Marshal’s office or the State Patrol that oversees it.

He is a 32-year veteran of the Patrol, first as a trooper, then commander and then state Fire Marshal. But he’s giving it all up.

He was asked, “Some critics might say that for a such a high-profile position, this is irresponsible for you to take this kind of action.” LeBlanc responded, “Irresponsible is one thing. If this was just an anti-vax issue, that statement would be accurate. But with me this is not just an anti-vax issue. With me we’re talking about my very life could be at risk.”

LeBlanc says his doctor recommended he not get vaccinated because for his medical history of bad reactions claiming it would be dangerous. “And so I’m choosing not play Russian Roulette with my life,” said LeBlanc. ”And move on and enjoy my family.”

Can't he get a Medical Exemption?

If a legitimate Doctor has said it would endanger his life, then certainly he should be exempt.

I think he's spewing Bullshit though.

If his doctor says there is an issue, then there's an issue.

But if it is just this guy saying that his doctor told him something, no.

Get a freaking note from your doctor.

Perhaps he should go 'to-a-real-hot-fire-event? For example...

He should hustle-on-over to that new(ish) 'Pence-4-Prez' office (!)
