After pandemic cancellation, Apple Cup back on
It’s game day in Seattle. The Huskies and Cougars are going head-to-head at the Apple Cup, and fans couldn’t be more excited to be back.
“It’s awesome to have the competition between the schools,” said Huskies fan Greg Galloway.
Cougars fan Katie Lyons added, “It’s just so great to be out here with everybody.”
Last year’s game was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. Despite the current number of COVID cases being higher than what health officials would like to see, thousands of people still descended on Husky Stadium.
