Edmonds mayor: Reopened budget process causing staff 'distress'

EDMONDS — Equipment purchases, hiring decisions and planned projects are on hold — at least until Edmonds City Council votes on a spate of proposed budget amendments.

The council reopened 2022 budget talks early this year, meaning the city has had to pause some day-to-day operations.
