Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade returns to Seattle this weekend

The Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade are returning to Seattle this weekend after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

The 32nd annual parade is on Saturday, June 18 at 2 p.m. It starts at Third Avenue and Leary Way, continues along 36th Street, takes a right on North Evanston Avenue, then loops back westbound on 35th Street, where it ends at the Fremont Fair.

More than 60 community-based entries include floats, giant puppets, stilt walkers, dancers and musicians.

And don’t forget the naked, but usually painted, cyclists.

Going to be a bit cool, maybe wet.
