ORCA cards may be temporarily out of stock at vending machines this summer
Supply chain issues, increasing ridership and employees returning to work will heavily impact ORCA card supplies at vending machines this summer.
The ORCA team announced last Friday that they have secured a large order of new cards that will be delivered in July and August in response to increasing demands.
Those who do need a card are encouraged to try using another vending machine or order a card online at myORCA.com that will take five to seven business days to deliver.
If a vending machine is out of cards, customers have the option to pay with cash, use the Transit GO Ticket app or to purchase a paper ticket.
