Gov. Inslee issues emergency order after semitruck damages I-405 overpass

Gov. Jay Inslee has issued an emergency proclamation after a semitruck struck the Lind Avenue overpass, causing severe damage.

Proclamation 22-03 directs the implementation of the plans and procedures in the Washington State Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.

State agencies and departments will utilize state resources to respond and make necessary repairs.

The cost to repair the overpass is estimated at $2 million.
