(8,595 posts)I'm such a homebody that it probably barely matters where I actually live, lol. But mushrooms get me out of the house sometimes.

(62 posts)East Bremerton. I rarely go out after them. You really should subscribe to Mushroom Wonderland on youtube. It is hosted by the VP of the Kitsap Mycological Society. He puts out great and frequent videos showing what fungi are currently fruiting locally. He also teaches some evening mushroom classes at Olympic College. The society has an annual fall mushroom show (lately at the college) that is the best place to get a close look at local species that have been identified. Have fun.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
