Ballots being sent out ahead of Special Election in Yakima

Yakima, Wash. — More than 44,000 ballots are being sent out ahead of the Special Election on Feb. 10.

Yakima County voters can expect their ballots to be mailed by Jan. 23, while military and overseas ballots were mailed on Jan. 9.

Ballot boxes close at 8 p.m. on election night. Ballots can either be sent by mail or dropped off in an official county drop box.

Voters can register in person until 8 p.m. on election night. The online registration deadline is Feb. 2.
