If Democrats retake Congress in the 2026 midterms, a lot more power and resources will flow to this Washington

Our state’s elected officials stick around.

The “Gold Dust Twins” — legendary Senators Henry M. Jackson and Warren G. Magnuson — served together in the United States Senate for twenty-eight years. Nowadays, Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell have been in office since 2001.

With seniority comes power, and the opportunity to get stuff done.

Ditto in the House, where Representative Adam Smith has chaired the Armed Services Committee. Smith has been around since 1996.

Representative Rick Larsen, serving his thirteenth term, is in line to chair the House Transportation Committee if Democrats retake the “people’s House.”

We'll be rehiring all of the DOJ resources that resigned. They will be tasked with bringing the sell-outs to justice,
