Live Nation unveils plans for concert venue across from T-Mobile Park

Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE: LYV) plans to open a concert venue across the street from T-Mobile Park in Seattle's Sodo neighborhood.

The facility is expected to open in 2029 and will add to a 30,000-square-foot building that currently hosts Victory Hall, Steelheads Alley taproom and Hatback Bar and Grille.

Dubbed The Boxyard, the building is operated by the Seattle Mariners, who inked a 23-year lease in 2021. The site was formerly home to Pyramid Alehouse, which closed in 2020 after more than three decades in the space.

The new concert venue will add 5,500 square feet to The Boxyard. Live Nation will operate the venue in partnership with First Avenue Entertainment, the majority owner of the Mariners.
