How much will World Cup tickets cost for US in Seattle in round of 16?
The U.S. men’s national team will return to Seattle to face Belgium in a round-of-16 match Monday. It’s arguably one of the biggest sporting events in Seattle’s history.
It might be one of the most expensive ones to attend, too.
The U.S.’ 2-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina in the round of 32 Wednesday evening confirmed that the team would be heading back to Seattle Stadium to play for the opportunity to advance to the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On Tuesday, fans who wanted to gamble on the U.S. making it and purchased their tickets in advance would need to spend, at minimum, just shy of $2,000 per ticket to get into the game. In the moments after the U.S.’ victory Wednesday night, tickets jumped to about $3,000 to get in the door if you buy from resellers, or $2,300 and up if you buy from FIFA’s resale marketplace.
