Needed: constituents in the 1st and 10th CDs to meet with candidates
Social Security Works is a coalition devoted to the defense of Social Security and to the promotion of Scrapping the Cap, a policy which would extend Social Security's solvency far into the future and enable improvements in benefits right now. We are interested in having potential constituents in these two CDs who have serious interest in this issue present and meetings with two candidates
We have an interview with Laura Ruderman on May 21st at noon at the Operating Engineers hall in Bothell to discuss preserving Social Security and Medicare. We also have an interview with Denny Heck on May 18th at 9AM in Olympia
Please forward names and contact information for those who might be interested in attending, and/or forward this email to them. Those who commit to attendance should contact the chair of Social Security Works, Robby Stern, at rstern@wslc.org, or drop me a PM for mor information.
