People kept ignoring the "do not cross when flooded" signs, and ending up having to be rescued, sometimes at great danger to the rescuers.

If you do that now, you may be held liable for all cost incurred in your rescue.

that so many ignored a road closed sign (one drove over the sign) they had to post a cop - they still ignored the sign.
What is wrong with people anymore.

It was said here already. People did stupid and ignored the warning sign. Drove over said sign, and ignored the cop who was put there because of all the stupid going on.
Our police have better things to do with their time. So let the stupid people be stupid. Let natural selection do what it does best - cleanse the gene pool.
