Seattle eyes record-breaking heat with highs in mid 80's Friday

It's beginning to look a lot like summer. Forecast models predict a very warm week with temperatures increasing until the weekend.

Weak offshore flow is expected to keep Puget Sound in the 70's on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the heat really kick up Thursday as temperatures push into the 80's.

We could even reach 86 degrees on Friday, according to KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott.

Onshore flow is expected to resume later Saturday bringing temperatures back into the 70's on Sunday.

I mean that doesn't help with the fires, but being in the 90's with the Seattle humidity is brutal...

can't wait. I'm in Seattle, but, yeah, central and eastern....

I'm glad the weather is expected to be good this summer, Seattle has had plenty of summers where the first good weekend in May is the last good weekend until end of August
