My Beloved Milwaukee Brewers are out of contention and have begun selling off veteran players to

improve for the future by acquiring prospects.

I propose in one of the upcoming trades, the other team also takes Scott Walker. Say, Carlos Gomez and Scott Walker to the Twins for a Lieutenant Governor and two minor league pitchers. Then, the Twins can just release Walker and everyone's happy!

Mark Shields used the same metaphor. Walker has never gone up against a strategist tougher than Mike Tate or a candidate better than Mary Burke.

When the rest of the field starts bringing the 98 mph heat coupled with nasty breaking stuff, Walker will be swinging and missing. In a lot of ways, he already is.
