group wants Walker to accept a presidential 'draft'

Apparently he's the only person who can unite the Republican party. Sure he'll be wearing his best Ronald Reagan-padded-shoulders suit and his head will be bobbing and shoulders shrugging when he reads the speech of his life at the convention, but do these people have any idea who Scott Walker really is? Didn't they watch the debates? Do they know anything about how utterly despised he is by the majority of people in Wisconsin? Do they know he is one of the least trustworthy people on the planet?

That little weasel still has a play here, doesn't he... Either he cuts a deal for 2016 or this ends up being the kick-off speech for his 2020 campaign. Either way, he's back.

A conservative political organization originally formed to support Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential bid is asking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to allow himself to be "drafted" as an alternative to Donald Trump.

"Governor Walker’s name is the only one being mentioned seriously as someone who can unite all factions of the Republican Party and we’re urging him to step forward and agree to accept a draft," said Courageous Conservatives PAC spokesman Steve Lonegan in a statement.

“We do not support a Third Party candidacy under any circumstances,” Lonegan said. “We want to defeat Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump just isn’t going to do it. Scott Walker will.”

Walker said last month it's a "legitimate" suggestion that delegates should vote their conscience and has backed away slightly from his support from Trump as the nominee. At the same time, he has ramped up his criticism of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton while repeatedly shrugging off suggestions that he could be a "white knight" alternative to Trump.

He can't unite anything, especially when the angry base turns on the GOP for cheating them out of Trump.

He and Ohio Rethuglicans think that HE will be the nominee of choice over Trump cuz he's a moderate and a postman's son and all warm and cuddly (and if I keep this up I'm likely to toss my cookies). His backers leave out all the damage he has done to Ohio and the temper tantrums he has thrown and what a nasty little man he is.
