Mark Tauscher may be thinking about running for Wisconsin governor

...Mary Spicuzza of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel explores whether former Packers offensive lineman Mark Tauscher is considering a run for governor. The primary (and only) evidence is a “Mark Tauscher for WI Governor” Facebook page that apparently has no connection to the player.
...Tauscher has no political experience (which obviously isn’t a disqualifying factor).
He currently has a media presence, providing commentary and analysis as to both the Badgers and Packers. Tauscher also hosts a weekday radio show with Jason Wilde.

Former Green Bay Packer Mark Tauscher says he's not considering a 2018 run for Wisconsin governor.

"It really is humbling that somebody put that out there, and that we got the reaction that we did," Tauscher said Friday.

Tauscher added Friday that he was humbled by the Facebook page, but has no plans to run in 2018 - or 2022.

He said he was overwhelmed by how fast the rumor spread.

this is really old and he debunked it over a week ago. Sadly, we have nobody of any merit..our DEM leaders here are useless. Our last chair gave us a zillionaire lady who knew NOTHING and no primary, last time. Shoved her down our throats.

No Dems have any charisma around here. At least Tausch has some and name recognition. I knew him a bit at the UW. Very smart nice guy. Right there he beats every Repug. It's just a fun discussion we could have.
