This is sad news.......Western Wisconsin had the most farm bankruptcies in the US.

Federal court data show that a Wisconsin district had the highest amount of farm bankruptcies in the country last year.

The Western District of Wisconsin had 28 farm bankruptcy cases in 2017, Wisconsin Public Radio reported . The district is made up of 44 counties and includes more than half of the state's geographic area. There are 94 federal court districts in the U.S.

Wisconsin farmers are earning less because of low commodity prices for corn, soybeans and milk. Simultaneously, input costs have remained steady or increased.

"People seem to have jobs, and the economy seems to be going well for most folks," said Christopher Seelen, an Eau Claire attorney who represents creditors in bankruptcy court. "Unfortunately for some of these farmers who are suffering through these low grain prices, the economy is not going as well for them."

Republican economic policies benefit the wealthy, but just try convincing poor and middle class white cult followers. Facts don't faze them.

of spending their $400 million in the next upcoming elections.

Hypocrites, more concerned about some in-the-air policies than actual people.

Their goal is to simply concentrate more wealth into fewer and fewer hands.

I wonder, when they have it all, what is stuff worth then? They are no buyers left anymore....

We're going to see even more farm bankruptcies.

"Trump’s animosity toward Mexico and complaints over trade imbalances have pushed longtime buyers to work with new suppliers and expand existing relationships in South America, the European Union and other regions, trade experts said."

Thanks, trump.

God Damned Scottie Walker and the lying repubs.

You are farmers! Why so gullible?

Solar powered equipment will help, yet you buy into the cowshit! Wind has been on farms forever. Is coal and oil really important?

I'm sad to see what has happened to my home state.

So much winning it hurts...

I remember during the protest in Madison after Wanker was elected, the farmers brought tractors and circled the capital.. It was very moving. No one in this State deserves this Republican death march to hell.

Er... I mean winning....

I for one would have liked to send him over there and say, "Prove it."
