I would hope that one or more of the conservative judges would look at the state-wide results and "get the religion" and maybe soften their stance in preparation of having to face some really, really angry electors....

but that's probably a pipe dream.

If the Conservatives/Republicans on the court follow their legislative colleagues, they will probably double down on the crazy for the next three years.

From what I have read:

1) Trump claims he endorsed a judge and the polls looked good for a win for his pick.

2) Someone in Wisconsin filed suit to try to push the election back because of the coronavirus and because there were problems with the mail-in ballots. People were claiming they weren't receiving them in the mail.

3) Trump claims that the reason the suit was filed was because they were afraid that this pick would win.

4) The conservative led State Supreme Court of Wisconsin ruled that the people had to vote on the scheduled election day for the primary. Trump takes this to mean that they're protecting his pick. Which, would be a logical conclusion because the belief is that most people won't come out to vote.

5) Wisconsinians risk their lives and storm the polls, standing six feet apart in line.

6) The State Supreme court judges vote from mail-in ballot.

7) Trump's pick loses.

Do I have that right?

and that President Biden immediately initiate steps to increase the number of SCOTUS judges to 11 so that 2 actual judges could be placed on the court to balance out the political hacks: Roberts, Alito, Gorsuch, Thomas and McRapey who have shown their true colors in this. Even the danger of deaths due to covid19 infection was not enough to keep these political whores from voting down an effort to keep Wisconsin's voters -- and their votes -- safe, healthy, and secure.

Roe v. Wade is next, folks. And that Brown v Board of Education is looking kind of weak, as well. Also, why should the Federal government get involved if, say, a State should decide to limit voting rights to the male gender? And what's all this so-called "14th Amendment" stuff when the government is trying to keep us all safe from muslim and BLM terrorists? And that 13th Amendment goes completely against the original intent of the (White, male) Founders -- so let's reconsider what it says -- I mean, if people are willing to sell themselves to someone as "slaves" isn't it their right to do so?

The Court as it stands now is fucking dangerous to us, our rights, and our continued existence as a democratic republic. We have to take over: both houses, the WH, and SCOTUS. We also need to move onto the States and clean up their legislatures. What happened in Wisconsin -- and what continues to happen in Florida -- must never happen again. Ditto Washington.

And thanks to Lulu KC for the link to the Robert's Court decision regarding mail in ballots. I had been confused which Supreme Court was involved in the decisions and now I realize it was both. My wife pointed out that Roberts may have shafted himself with this decision as now there is no way he can go back and postpone or delay the November election. Full speed ahead.

I don’t know what it will take to change the pathetically gerrymandered Assembly and Senate, but right now, this sure feels good. It wasn’t a razor thin win, it was a drubbing. 👍

I understand Walker is working for Trump's re-election campaign. If that is so I'll bet Walker has some serious splain to do. It looks like Walker isn't going to deliver Wisconsin to Trump on a gold platter.

I have my fingers crossed that this is just the start of things to come.
