Powers that be have been looking for the cause of the current Wisconsin covid outbreak.

Trump last came to Wisconsin September 17, drawing "thousands" to northern Wisconsin. When I watched the news of that visit, those thousands were not wearing masks and were penned
Closely together. That was 14 days ago.

There is greater science that indoor gatherings of large groups in noisy places is a biggest cause of cluster outbreaks
( churches, choirs, gyms, bars restaurants etc)

Trump rallies too. I reckon the crowds came f rom all over NE wisco

It seemed the only people wearing masks were the secret service and the handlers. Northern Wisconsin is very conservative. The bars have been open since the Republicans decided they
should reopen. I am sure lots of people went to the bars. I was just thinking about it as he cancelled his LaCrosse visit, no word yet on the Green Bay stop. Our hospitals are nearly full, and once again Brown County has the highest increase of cases in the state, which hit another record high today.

which btw,is anything north of HWY 12. Funny,LaCrosse was always considered South Eastern Wisconsin.

Anyway, best guess as to the Covid sudden blow up is,in Mid August Colleges were holding Orientations for new incoming Students. By Labor Day,that is the Start of Frat Rush, and for those whom remember or may not want to remember how that happened, lots of Booze and Keggers.

One thing about the State Colleges, they are known as Suit Case Colleges,Friday afternoon is bail out time as the kids head back home for the weekend.

And they wonder how this Covid Pandemic is spreading.
